OpenNSL API Guide and Reference Manual: Buffer Statistics Tracking (BST)

This feature provides better visibility into the device buffer usage. It aids in resource monitoring and buffer allocation tuning.

BST has two modes: Max Use Count and Current Use Count. Max Use Count mode provides counter maximums for a given time period and tracks peak usage. Current Use Count mode provides the instantaneous value of the monitored counter.
